Riley was a wonderful dog, not perfect, but damn near. From the time he was a little puppy stoically tolerating his ear
wrapping to his last day, where he kept following me even though it was devastatingly painful for him. He would try to do anything
I asked of him, however silly it seemed. He had True "heart".
Riley taught me patience and a whole new way of working with dogs. He was so sensitive that I could not even raise my voice or it would
emotionally crush him.
Riley touched many lives, he is missed beyond words. Good bye my dear friend.

"Cazar"
Cazar came to live with us when he was about 8-years old, in September 2010. He is around 12 in these photos.
Rescuing a senior is one of the most rewarding acts you can do! His rear getting weaker, but his sole incredibly strong.
For me, the benefits outweigh the risks. Check a local rescue, or shelter housing a senior needing a home; help give a
sweet, old white-faced Doberman a little bit of heaven on earth. We had 4 years with Cazar, a wonderful addition to our family...

"Harry James"
Even by Doberman standards Harry was extraordinary—sweet and funny and oh so loving. He was gentle and thoughtful,
preferring petting and cuddling over any other form of treats. He was a great working teammate, while not a hard-driving dog
he always wanted to be right and to be close by me, making him a great Obedience dog. We showed in Utility under Lynn Eggers
in 2014—we missed only the articles so no Q but that’s why they call it “Futility”!—and she remarked on what a wonderful
working dog he was. Quite a compliment! I was most proud when (multiple Crufts Obedience winner)
Sylvia Bishop watched him work and said he was one of the best working Dobermans she had ever known and “such a gentleman”.
He was indeed a remarkable gentleman—unique, handsome and much beloved. I was so lucky to love him and be loved by him.

"In Loving Memory of Jonathon and Judy Dodd"
They bred under the kennel name of "ERIN" and produced a number of beautiful champions - with excellent temperaments.
However, in all likelihood, the most famous Doberman they owned was actually bred by their good friends Marge and Gene Cox.
His name was Ch Maco's Sugar Twin ... aka "Maco". Maco was used sparingly but had a very positive effect on the breed, particularly through
his son Ch Darwin's Dance of the Hour. Jon and Judy were advocates for the Doberman and contributors to the breed and the Doberman Pinscher Club of America for years
and years and years. They gave thousands of dollars over the years to health / research and rescue and in fact, they were one of several
individuals who financed the annual DPCA Cope/Rescue Banquet - always refusing to take any kind of credit for their generosity.
In addition, Judy involved herself in several other money-making projects over the years and was the first member of the club to donate money for research and rescue
every time one of her dogs was used at stud or someone bought an Erin puppy....others may have joined her in that effort - but she blazed the path.
Besides everything they "did" for Dobermans -- they were just genuinely nice people. Both of them had hearts of gold ... which weren't terribly beneficial to them as business people - and they knew it - but they were "who" they were and they weren't interested in changing.
Rest in peace, Jon - together again for eternity with Judy.
